“This sauce is a bit of a conundrum, is it really a "hot sauce" since it's so mild it has basically zero burn? It tastes absolutely amazing for sure, very low vinegar flavor, lots of pepperiness but with no burn, a bit of a tangy flavor. It's fantastic stuff that you can apply VERY liberally to flavor dishes and it's extremely difficult to overpower a dish with it. Just be aware that you won't be adding HEAT to a dish using this bottle, you will be adding FLAVOR.”

“Very flavorful sauce with a good balance of vinegar and garlic flavor. Also tastes great on eggs. However, could use more heat. They say it has 1800 Scoville but I feel like my trusty red hot is hotter by comparison. Also wish they sold larger bottles, it does not last long. Still a great gift to start someone on their hot sauce journey or to add to an established collection of sauces.”

“This isn’t so much a HOT sauce, as it is a FLAVOR sauce. DELICIOUS! I’d use this stuff as salad dressing if it were less expensive. It is great to stir in with Frank’s for added flavor dimensions or to Mayo for a little kick on your Turkey on rye. You see the spice rating, you know this isn’t the napalm siren song of b-hole death some sauces are. Apart from those liking for such an experience- NO ONE will regret purchasing the Hot Ones Classic sauce.”

“This is just the best sauce for chicken wings and even nuggets. I just wish they made it in bulk/economy/refill size because it's delicious and my bottles are always empty. I guess there's good reason they're sold out.”

“This sauce is awesome, mild but awesome. Usually I like a bit more heat, my favorite sauce is Los Calientes. I feel that is the perfect middle ground. Sometimes it’s fun to go up further, but also sometimes you just want a baby kick which is what the classic brings to the table. An entry level sauce that lets you know there is some heat but won’t hurt you. I like it on sliders and have used it with several dishes I’ve made. I will have to order more soon as I’m almost out already.”
