“Friend of mine bought this sauce for me(to think all I got him was a lousy giftcard. ah man I am a crappy friend) and I've already gone through half a bottle. The flavor in this bottle is astounding. The ginger is a wonderful note and honestly the best thing about this sauce. Forget pepper X, i mean sure its chocolately, but the ginger makes this taste amazing. Side note: While i absolutely despise vote rigging of any kind. And typically anyone who deletes comments or votes or reviews or ratings is a putrid gutter dredging spineless cur deserving of nothing but the profoundest contempt. I would support Heatonist for deleting 1 star reviews from morons whinging about this being out of stock. Consumerist retards. "hurr my friend told me bout this but i cant buy any cuz theyre sold out" "hurr my grandson wanted this but theyre sold out" Freaking boomers man. Purge the lot of them”

“Don't rate the sauce a one star saying "it's sold out" you're reviewing the sauce here, not the availability. To those saying it's mild, I had the same experience, but we just have different taste bud triggers. I ate it in a challenge with a friend, he got KO'd for a good 10 minutes and I had a second bite thinking my portion somehow evaded the core ingredients. Pepper X doesn't register on my pallet yet Carolina Reaper drags me through at least 6 of the 9 circles of hell.”

“If you're looking for HOT, this isn't it. Not even close. Watch Hot Ones - no one ever reacts to this. It is a fairly mild sauce that is all hype and no heat. Too much turmeric and ginger flavor to me, which is about all you taste. If you want heat, buy anything Mad Dog makes. Their mildest sauce is considerably hotter than this one. Same goes for Da Bomb, except Da Bomb tastes like crap while burning like crazy.”

“I was double gifted this over Christmas, and I couldn’t be happier to receive two of the same gift. The flavor up front is phenomenal. And it’s natural ingredients really stand out. It’s a thicker sauce, so be careful with your dab. Give friends fair warning before subjecting them to it.. but it’s fun to get the reaction. It is hot enough to cause some discomfort, but it’s brief. Awesome flavor that comes with a brow sweat and a tickle in the ear. Can’t wait to try the Reaper edition. Sure, it’s frustrating to wait for these sauces considering it’s high demand and small-scale production. But much like the final 2 books of the A Song of Ice and Fire series.. it’s worth the wait. That being said.. HURRY UP GEORGE! WE WANT THE REAL ENDING! Cheers to Sean, Chris, Smokin’ Ed and everyone at Hot Ones, Complex and Heatonist.”

“Although it is annoying to have to wait for this get into stock, I understand why. Ed currie and a few others are the only people who can actually grow this pepper. Stop giving bad reviews just because its never in stock. This sauce is really amazing and a lot of people want it so (Just like me) you have to wait. Don't bite the mouth that feeds you.”

“Listen.... Imagine having to grow one of the hottest peppers in the world that only you have access to. Not only is there a little supply because your the only 1 company who makes it but you have to let it grow. Also throw in the factor of it being advertised on one of the internet's biggest hits right now. Thus leading to it being sold out. I don't work at the company but I'm a customer who understands why it takes so long to make the sauce, don't give it a hard time just because it is out of stock but because of the quality of the product when you finally get to try it yourself, and I bet that the 1 star review your getting ready to write will change into a 5”
