“This is honestly one of the best tasting "superhot" hot sauces (if not the best tasting) that I've ever tried (and trust me I've tried too many to count). It's fantastic! However, this sauce is not nearly as hot as advertised with the Pepper X and such. There is zero way it's anywhere close to even a million scovilles, I honestly doubt it's half that. I absolutely love this sauce, but if you are ordering it thinking it's going to be some crazy super hot sauce, it's not close to being that. For example, I ordered another sauce from the Hot Ones lineup that is supposedly only 500k scoville (Da Bomb Evolution), and in my opinion it's significantly hotter than this one. I've had all of Ed's Reaper sauces too and this one is definitely no hotter or even less. If you want a truly superhot hot sauce, the one I'd recommend is Hellfire Doomed (aka Hellboy Right Hand of Doom). It's significantly hotter and tastes good. I would caution you to put a hot sauce dripper insert on the top to only pour out a drop at a time.”

Oh no! So sorry to hear that! The number one reason for people to think sauce is not hot is because they treat it like an extract sauce and use too little. You're meant to use about 1 tablespoon per serving, so enough to well coat a wing, plus a dab on top. Giving the bottles a good shake also helps!
