“I thought I was buying THE SAUCE. We were all super excited. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but I was really disappointed in this. I was hoping to get my mouth blown off. In the end, it had a pleasant enough flavor but the heat was severely lacking. I started with a dab...and in the next bite, I just dumped it on my food. I make hotter food to eat. Two stars for a decent flavor. Sort of a vinegary mild curry with some bitter earthy tones at the end.”

“so flavor wise this sauce is amazing. just as a topper i could use it on just about anything. very satisfied! suprisingly though, even though it has 3 kinds of pepper x, i felt like torchbearers garlic reaper sauce is hotter. that being said definitely buying this again.”

“It’s delicious, I’ll hand them that. It has a different flavor than most sauces. But at $26 shipped? You’re paying for the label. The sauce is not spicy, and especially not even close to what they advertise. Seriously. It almost feels like false advertising in how they put it in the show claiming that it’s going to melt your face and then spit on your grave. It’s laughable that Heatonist even has the audacity to put it on their “hottest” page. Seriously. Avoid it until they lower the price from $20 + $6 shipping. You’ll be disappointed like so many here.”

“Considering that Da Bomb is hotter than this sauce giving it an 11 out of 10 just isn't justified. HOWEVER, it is absolutely delicious, and is definitely hot. I love the ingredient list. But I think it's time we all admit that the Scoville rating of the peppers isn't the same as how hot the sauce is. I'm sure Pepper X extract would be ungodly hot. And sauces like Da Bomb are "cheating" but TLDXXX just is NOT as hot.”
