“I kind of had high expectations of it and after watching the Hot Ones show and seeing people suffer, I thought I give it a try. I am all over spicy foods and sauces; I put it in almost anything. This is no exception. The Last Dab has a really distinct and delicious flavor, and with my experience, it is a slow burn so it is enjoyable (at least for me). The heat is not the spiciest, not even close to 11/10 , but it is definitely there. I would rate the heat an 8/10. Overall, good balance in flavor with a robust kick.”

“I originally wrote a review saying heat but lacking when I originally purchased the 2 bottles. Well now that I have gone through the first bottle and cracked open the second. Holy ef! this second bottle is no damn joke compared to the first. Major discrepancy between the two. I have to believe either the batch was fresh, too fresh and needed to ferment OR there just is a problem with the production and bottling of this sauce. If both bottles were as hot as this second one I'd definitely be buying more but looks like too many others having same issues. After opening second bottle 1 star moved to 3 stars”

“I've been a hot sauce addict for over 30 years now. A while back I was introduced to the Heatonist, and the Last Dab by a former roommate. I've tried the previous iterations of the Last Dab. (1st one, killer heat, decent flavour. 2nd one brutal heat, terrible flavour). This one is one of the best tasting sauces I've had. Very cumin and ginger forward, with a fruitiness from the chilis following closely afterwards. I enjoy this quite a bit. However, when it comes to the heat, it just does not have the punch the previous versions of The Last Dab carried. This is more than made up for by the sheer wonderful flavour of it, though. I would prefer it to carry the heat of its predecessor.”

“Smells like Curry. It's hot without being one of those sauces that just hurts. So hot my mouth is still a little numb from an hour ago. Really really good.”

“I recently hosted an event based on the Hot Ones challenge. 6 competitors and 11 sauces(bonus XXX hot ones #11). I am reviewing my line up with feedback from myself and 5 others. This was my surprise #11 sauce. Taste wise, honestly none of use were impressed. maybe it had something to do with our expectations, I dont know. i was really hoping this one would knock things out of the park(i usually dont like to talk about price in reviews but for 20$USD a bottle, my expectations were high). as it is, i have an unopened bottle of this and it isn't the heat that's stopping me from opening it. As far as the heat goes, i feel like this was way over pitched with its '11 out of 10' heat rating. we liberally coated our wings each round. our #7 sauce FiyaFiya destroyed this one. no contest. it has heat but none of use found it close to unbearable. Taste - middle of the pack at 2.5 of 5 Heat - closer to a 7 of 10”

“I’m not a sadist. I like spicy food, but I’m not crazy. We bought a few of FWF sauces. They are all delicious, even this one. But there’s no way this is 2 million scovilles. It’s spicy, it lingers a bit - but the heat is more than tolerable. It makes me question the reaction some of them have when it comes to the last dab.”

“This one is underwhelming, and I don't just mean the heat - as others have pointed out, this particular sauce seems wildly inconsistent with it's heat levels. Don't get me wrong, this sauce is hot (don't let the pepper elitists fool you) but it isn't as hot as the other last dabs. Again, this could just be the batch that I got. I'm all for the fun of punishing myself by eating something really hot once in a while but this one isn't the hottest and it doesn't taste that great either.”
