“Welcome to running a small business! Where you actually care about providing a living wage to your employees and aren't part of name brands that own the market and can produce products in mass for cheap. My favorite hot sauce costs $15 a bottle and I'm willing to pay it for the heat and quality since no mass-produced products can stand up to it. And this isn't a shot at people who can't afford to drop 10-15 bucks on a bottle of hot sauce. It's a luxury as far as condiments go, and no one is going to blame you if you take a pass on it. There's no question about that. Just don't be a dick about it. These are small business owners; they aren't going to lower the price to $5 just because you wrote a bad review about it.”
