“This sauce is great. The consistency and texture is thick enough for a good dab, but not so thick it won’t come out (XXX, I’m looking at you). I loved the flavor of XXX a lot. It was slightly tastier, but not as hot. Apollo tastes great, but has a more pure pepper flavor. It works perfectly in almost any food that you want to kick up, without changing the overall flavor.”

“Of all the iterations of The Last Dab that I've tried, this one has quickly become my favorite. It's hot, no doubts about it, but what's more is that it has a great palate profile that favors savory flavor or trying to make me waiver and wither. Seriously, this stuff is good, and while the heat may be what drives others off the steep slopes of the fiery mountain climb, Hot Ones' "The Last Dab: APOLLO" is a prize worthy of inclusion into the pantheon of high heat heroes. In short, buy a bottle today and you too can enjoy the ray of sunshine that is Apollo.”

“Apollo is easily the hottest yet of the Last Dab line, and despite being fully pepper based, it competes easily against sauces that use extract with its intense burn. The flavor behind the burn makes it the best tasting of the higher Scoville sauces that I have tried, and it goes great with chili, wings, and even as a condiment on burgers or hotdogs.”

“The sauce is pretty good. Does have a little bit of vinegar taste to it. But not as hot as they claimed it to be.”

“Way better than I expected . Lots of the hot sauces come with pure pepper much like the police in your city on innocent peaceful protesters. This hot sauce does the justice to your taste buds like a fair and equal legal system while being firm and just as needed to the level of heat promised. The thicker texture makes this a fun sauce for your at home games on Hot Ones”

“This sauce seems like a response to critiques of the last dab being "not hot enough". They completely done away with the enhancing flavor elements (mustard, ginger, tumeric) and replaced it with pepper distillate. This means that it's not longer a pure pepper mash sauce and doesn't have an ounce of flavor beyond the pepper itself. So basically, it's no long a last dab sauce as they have existed previously. All that being said, this is unique, enjoyable, and VERY hot. I just hope that future additions bring back the rest of the flavor profile because that's what made the last dab great.”

“A lingering heat however, little to no flavor profile. A drastic change from the previous "Last Dab" lineup. Would like to see additional ingredients added for flavor.”
