“I have the subscription and get my 3 sauces monthly. Me and the wife throughly love spicy foods, and when it comes to hot sauce, we love to find New, Hot, or just plain experience hot flavorful sauce. Day one we fried up a batch a wings and did 6 of the 10 hot ones. Well we Normally fry up just blank wings and then we do a free for all dip in whatever sauce we want... so we did that. Got to the Apollo and I was genuinely worried. We dipped ate and to our surprise, it wasn't that bad. My mouth got hot, but it was manageable, it was barely hotter that the Hell Fire Detroit. (Another great tasting suace.) I will say, that despite the heat the Apollo is a very well crafted and flavorful sauce. Anyways I convinced my wife to have wings again for lunch the next day. And this time we only had 12 wings left in the bag... I thought it wasn't that bad, so I'm going to toss two in each sauce to save the dipping space and then serve then separately on a plate. I tore through the first 5 that hell fire bit me a bit harder than it has and I remember thinking to myself... huh, this seems a little bit hotter than yesterday. However, if the Apollo was a little bit hotter I could handle it. Bottom line up front... my wife never ate the last wing. My face went numb, and I looked like I had belpalsy. I could barely speak, and she kept telling me I wasn't making sense. I had fluid dripping from every hole in my head except the ears. The back of my skull, and chest were vibrating with sizzled into a pulsing motion towards the end. My next was so tight and hot I felt like I was wearing a scarf. My lips were red for a half hour. All in all the bad shit went away no longer than 10 mins. I went into this overconfident by my own previous mistake. This sauce is worth the experience. I can't wait to do this again next weekend. If you read this whole thing. At least once you have to take a full measure. Toss a wing in this sauce and take the ride.”

“Wasn’t as hot as I expected but the flavor was really good and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it because it wasn’t as painful as I had expected. Flavor wise, it was a lemony, floral smoky taste that I love in hot sauce. flavor was on point but the heat wasn’t the insanity I’d expected although it’s a real good slow burn.”

“This isn’t the last dab, it’s THE last dab. I’ve had 7-8 bottles from Heatonist and this is by far the hottest. I put a dime size drop in my ramen and daaaaayyyuuuumm. Lots of heat, good flavor and lingers about 4-5 mins. Looking forward to making cauliflower wings with it.”

“Best heat and flavor combo I've had, but one dab is enough. I hit the pedal hard and put four dabs on a bite of pizza... then again... then again... I'm starting to understand why Sean gets so many BM questions. I bought 3 more cause everyone I talk to wants to try it”

“Heat is great at first, but goes away too fast... MAYBE if you soaked wings in this sauce overnight, THEN fry it in apollo batter, THEN poured a whole bottle on 10 wings, then MAYBE it would be hot... VERY disappointing!!!! This sauce belongs in california with the rest of the light weights!!!!! And it should be rated a 7/10 at best!!!!!”

“Heat: 8.8 - Heat was localized to the area initially introduced in the mouth. What I found was that it was localized to my tongue, whereas other superhot sauces engulf the entire mouth and the back of the throat. Not the hottest thing I've ever had but it will linger to the local area for awhile. Flavor: 8.x I want to say it has an interesting flavor profile because its a new pepper, the flavor enters first very briefly before the heat profile. Texture is up to the user, I found mine to be slightly thicker than I typically want it to be - not a lot of vinegar in mine. The 4 stars is because while its a good sauce, I personally didn't think it was worth the price premium for the sauce.”

“This sauce hits like you just tried to steal Apollo Creed's lunch money. Talk about a right hook to flavor town. This one will have your taste buds bouncing off the mat and going straight to heat heaven. This sauce is a knockout! Highly recommend.”
