“I have not yet attempted to use this sauce during cooking or marinating, perhaps this sauce would be more suitable for that. As a condiment, it missed the mark. Let us compare this with "The Last Dab XXX", which is a thick curry-like sauce that provides an delicious up-front taste, with a slowly growing burn sneaking up on you. The Apollo is opposite to that. It has an up-front burn, probably due to the thin watery consistency of the sauce, that is masking the taste so much that it is barely noticeable. The little you do notice, shows up after the fact, unless you have to drink milk first. This is not a bad hot sauce, so I ranked in Average with 3 stars. However, it does not compare to the other 4/4-star hot sauces, and I would not go out of my way to buy it again. If you want great last dab to share with your friends, I would definitely recommend "The Last Dab XXX" which is also purchasable from heatonist. :)”

“Apollo ain’t messin around. This is really hot. And clean. The heat produced is tolerable even though it’s insanity hot. Hard to explain. Compared to a few handfuls of super hots I’ve tried, this had the most pleasurable burn… there is such a thing. And it’s here. I love this sauce.”

“I accidentally put way too much on my spaghetti last night but I think it made it better for it. It was so hot it was good. Not a huge spaghetti fan but I had hot sauce. It saved the day!”

“Was expecting it to be much hotter than what it is. The flavor isn't that great either. For $30 a bottle after shipping, I had higher expectations. Wouldnt buy it again.”

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. We only carry all natural sauces, so this isn't going to have quite the same mouth burn as some of the extract-based sauces that want you to just use a few drops. It also hits a bit more delayed and has more of a full body burn, but especially when you use at least a teaspoon or two on something hot like a wing, it can get a hot sauce high going!
