“So much has already been said about this sauce by everyone else. I absolutely love it. The flavor is solid, the heat is solid. I keep a bottle of it in the car so I have it everywhere I go. There are few joys more substantial than carrying it into a local firehouse subs where people are bragging about their sweat from the "super hots (topping at about 350,000 SHU)" they keep on hand there, and pooping down to enjoy some apollo on a sandwich. Extra fun times, offer some to someone bragging about their spice tolerance to their friends.bhave had quite a few compliments, and have been asked if I'm out of my mind by just the right amount of people. Will absolutely be buying more soon!”

“Disappointed in this round. The depth of flavor (and intense heat) seems sorely lacking in comparison to the reaper edition, and my all time favorite the scorpion edition. Why no flavor enhancing ingredients? The ginger, cumin, and turmeric played so well with the scorpion. What could work with the Apollo. Finally, why am I not on the floor in pain after a mouthful as I was with the scorpion.”

“Not impressed with this one, the previous xxx last dab tastes hotter to me. Still a good sauce, just over sold with the “hottest pepper” talk.”

“So I've done the Spicy Chicken Noodle challenge and thought that was a pretty tough one to beat so I decided to make my own challenge with chicken yakisoba noodles and a heaping serving of this hot sauce (about a tablespoon). This was pretty tough and I couldn't finish my noodles only because they burned more than tasted good. At that point I just couldn't taste anything but heat. I've also tried this on chicken wings. Just a small dab and that was completely doable for me. I think I'll need to experiment to see where I can draw the line between enjoyment and pain.”

“Sweet baby Jesus this is hot. Tried it on a first dab on wings and a dab is all you need. Great flavor with a slow building burn which lasts about 5 minutes.”

“This is definitely hotter than XXX and has a good flavor but isn't as good as XXX is in my opinion. Interestingly I have had people willingly try this and hellfire fiery fool and about have say this is hotter myself included but the other hate say the fiery fool is hotter. I have noticed that eating this like I do other hot sauces first it is actually hot but to me very tolerable but about an hour later things get a little interesting with upper back pain and waves of feeling really good and almost the sensation of mint radiating through my body wich is probably a numbing effect from the capsinoids it is a very interesting sensation and lastes about a half hour. Overall I like this sauce and use it fairly often and if you like truly hot food but aren't willing to just throw out flavor this and hellfire fiery fool are your best options having extreme heat and good flavors.”

“Love the buildup. Not super slow, not immediate. Very solid. Be careful, as it comes out a bit quick! Good flavor, good heat. Definitely one of the hotter sauces I’ve had.”
