“Overall I feel like the Hell Fire Detroit was hotter than this. The last dab did create a certain short lived burn in the back of my throat that the rest of the sauces I purchased did not but was not at all what I was expecting. While I was happy with my purchase overall the last dab was a disappointment compared to some of the other sauces. Los Calientes was my favorite and something I could use as an every day hot sauce but clearly not the hottest. I guess these things probably are hard to QA control due to differences between crops and growing seasons etc... I'm sure some bottles probably are a lot hotter.”

“It had a kick, but overall that kick lasted for only 5 seconds, but it had good flavor.”

“I heard this was a really hot hot sauce, so of course I caved and got it. It wasn't hot at all, even the weakest person I know could handle this sauce. In all honesty if you want a really hot hot sauce go for Dave's Insanity Sauce, it is by far much hotter. I'm really disappointed in this sauce.”

“This stuff is HOT. My tongue was on fire for about 20 minutes after one wing. The surprising thing about this sauce is the flavor. Once the pain subsides, you can really taste the blend of flavors added in to make this painful experience a little more enjoyable.”

“Because they don't ship to the Philippines, i just got my aunt from Singapore to buy it and give it for me but anyways. This hot sauce slowly creeps up on you before the spiciness hits and leaves a fragrant smell in your nose. You do have to hit the bottle for some to come out though. spiciness for me is an 7/10, I've been using this sauce for almost 3 days now and it just creeps in your mouth but is bearable”

“Yea it's HOT. The smallest of dabs directly on your tongue and you'll feel it after maybe a second. Also what's not mentioned: this sauce is more of a "mash". Extremely thick - like, you're going to have to hit the bottle to get some to come out. The smell/flavor is alright, but it's hard to find it because it's f**king hot.”

“I was a little disappointed when I couldn't get the Pepper X version because I was afraid the Reaper one wouldn't taste as good or be as hot. But honestly, it's great. I am super happy with it. I have had really hot sauces like this before that are just not fun at all because there's no flavor, but it's very clear that this sauce was prepared to have great flavor first with a slow-building but powerful heat as well. If you think it's not hot , it's because it is totally bearable at first, but it sneaks up on you after a little while. I think this is a great sauce.”
