“I don't eat garlic. So this makes finding a good hot sauce kinda tough. There are some really nice options that are very vinegar forward, but they're not usually that spicy. I was excited to try this one. The heat is really a perfect level for my tastes. It's quite noticeable but doesn't overwhelm any flavors in the sauce or the food, or make you feel bad. It might just be that I'm not a huge habanero guy. HFH has an interesting floral / funky taste that I was hoping would grow on me, but hasn't after a few uses as a condiment. It also has whole seeds in the sauce which I don't love. The vinegar is muted and there's not much salt, so I might have better luck cooking with it / using it as a base for marinades and stuff.”

I’m so sorry this sauce wasn’t your cup of tea. We find it really sings on turkey wraps and breakfast sausages. Or if you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

“Great on everything. I expected more heat from it, but they did a really good job balancing the acidity of the vinegar with the pepper. It highlights the flavor of habañero effectively and works well on everything.”
