This is my absolute favorite hot sauce. Balanced smoke, rich ferment and “keep on going” perfect heat level. I love it in my ramen, mixed with ketchup for burgers and fries, and anything cheesy. But dang, I can put it on anything and it never fails.

This guy was good but it didn't blow me away not sure what it was but it's missing something not bad!

This sauce was the most expensive bottle that I bought of the bunch. And it’s by far the worst. The smoke flavor is so bitter that it immediately reminds me of the first dip I ever had of the cheapest fine cut chewing tobacco. It’s not good.

I’m so sorry this sauce wasn’t for you! Sometimes its about finding the right pairing. With its smoky flavors, this sauce is superb on a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich. If you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

I love the use of the rum barrel, it adds a great finish to this sauce!

Has a surprising heat to it for a jalapeño sauce. Good flavour. Basic setup. Peppers can be negar and salt. Smoky. Sweet. Will purchase again

I was really interested in trying this hot sauce out for myself. Consistency is fairly thick, with jalapeno seeds throughout. As for the taste... You know what? It tastes exactly like you'd think it would: like smoked, fermented jalapenos. Vinegar is almost non-existent compared to other hot sauces. I'm a medium heat kind of guy, and this one has a nice sharp heat that seems to stay on the tongue. Definitely a unique, yet familiar flavor to this one. It's interesting. Give it a try!
