“All things considered, this sauce was very enjoyable. My wife comes from Alabama, and we get into some heated debates on the right bbq sauce on our pulled pork sandwiches. If you’re like her than this sauce fits perfectly into your mustard-based palates.”

“I was thrilled to see this one in the July subscription box! I was already planning on ordering as I've been a regular user of Shaquanda's since Hot Ones season 9. Slightly sweet and smoky with a stronger kick than the original... it's my current condiment of choice to douse scrambled eggs in the morning.”

“This was not what I was expecting and it just doesn't taste that good. I didn't taste any smoke or feel any heat from this. Mustard is definitely there but that is it. Needs work. Spicy mustard with some smoke would be great but this wasn't.”

“I'm going to have to break from the pack on this one. If I were a tasting notes kind of person, this would be the first time I would use the tasting note "cough syrup" to describe a sauce. I was excited for the mustard aspect, but again, it just didn't do it for me. Hot sauce is getting to be a bit of an issue in general the difference between "good" and "great" is so slim, your stuff has to be "great" and this offering just isn't.”

“I absolutely hate to have to talk bad about any heatonist sauces.. I also know how much this will sound like yet another fake review from a competitor, so I'll make it simple and to the point. This smells and tastes of detergent. So much so that I gotta wonder if there was a bad batch that got soap into the sauce. It's horrible, regardless. If no one reports the same thing, It might just even be my bottle and nothing else. It's cray bad. I love strong flavors. IPA's for example are my other love. This is just absurdly horrible. Soap. That's what I got here.”

“Got this as part of the July subscription box. This sauce was not at all what I was expecting. This seriously just taste like spicy mustard to me, and as someone who can't stand mustard, you could imagine my disappointment. The taste of mustard is so intense all other flavors are lost on me, including the peppers(heat level is good though, not too hot.) Mustard powder is the second to last ingredient so it feels like this flavor isn't intentional. If this is what they were going for however, be sure you really like mustard before you try.”

“Honestly wish I had smelled this before trying it. Was really excited about this sauce. Not sure if our bottle some how went bad or what, but spit it out after trying it. It tasted and smelled rancid. This is the first hot sauce we just threw away.”
