“This is my first experience with any sauces from Heatonist. And I must say, their selection does not disappoint. I ordered this, as well a bottle of The Classic Chili Maple. All of these sauces have excellent flavor right away! The heat pack really did have some punch, but I found each sauce was more a build into a strong lasting heat, rather than an up front presence. I think overall my favorite so far is The Spicy Shark. This is the most unique tasting sauce I think I've ever had, and I'm hooked! As soon as you take a bite you immediately get the taste of cumin, mango, habanero and a little cinammon, carried by an aroma of other fruits and spices. Definitely masala inspired in flavor. The heat comes in waves, but isn't unbearable. In second place I think I would have to place the Adoboloco Jalapeño Chico. Absolutely incredible smokey jalapeño flavor, right from the start. Not much spice at first, but it's tricky. As soon as you think you've outlived it, the ghost pepper comes in clutch. Cannot recommend more on a breakfast burrito! Although I'm ranking Alchemy Peppers Watermelon Ghost Hopp Sauce third here, that doesn't mean I don't love it. I simply found it was less applicable to daily meals and snacks given the flavor profile, which I was expecting to be fair. What I wasn't expecting was to actually notice much watermelon in this sauce, but it is there and it's there right away. And I must say it compliments the smokey ghost pepper really well! This is one of those sauces that deserves to be experienced on its own to really get what it has to offer. So far I'm enjoying it most with ham, as it gives a similar effect as a pineapple type glaze in my opinion. I have to say, I fully recommend each of these sauces! This was an excellent start into my adventure and I will be ordering more very soon. If you or someone you know enjoys the heat chase like I do, don't hesitate. They even have gift cards!”

“The Spicy Shark might be one of my all time favorite hot sauces. The Watermelon Ghost is also delicious and not nearly as hot as I thought it would be, so it's something I can use quite often. The Jalapeno Chico Sauce is also a smokey fave of mine that I love to use on my burgers.”
