“I had left overs from a restaurant the night before. We always order more than we can eat & the portions are large as well. I reheated everything as usual. The sliders had no taste. I thought I had tomato’s etc… My daughter reminded me of the sauces I bought. It was like night and day. The sauce was an excellent complement to the burgers. We liked it because it was not spicy but I had a lot of flavor. I can’t wait to use the other two. Thanks Keith for your sauces!!”

Hey Tilen, Thanks so much for writing in about this. The cool thing about small batch hot sauce is that each batch from small makers can vary! Sometimes the oil is added before another step and kind of tweaks everything but please note that each batch is tested to maintain PH balance and of course follows all food safety precautions. The sauce is not bad, just different!! For example, people who are tasting the sauce for the first time think it's perfectly delicious! I have a feeling it is because you had a different batch that was a little thinner previously and have something to compare it to. Give it a really good shake so everything mixes together and try it on food and let me know how it goes! That being said, I can of course offer you a credit for a bottle on us for the next time you order. I don't want to reship a new bottle right away as we have three warehouses and could still potentially send you another bottle from the same batch! Does that sound like a plan to you? I would say if you ordered in a few weeks, that should cycle through the batch. Let me know what you think and thank you again for taking the time to help us understand what is going on! “These sauces are trying to hard. Cinnamon?! Fig?! Way too much vinegar flavor in all of them. Burger sauce was the only one I did not throw away. Was really excited to try these but instead I am now questioning all the eat the menu videos I watched.”
