“Customer service review: Aces! I received a damaged box, and contacted customer service to let them know. I said the sauces are all fine, but if they could send an intact box I would greatly appreciate it. They replied immediately and sent an entirely new box of sauces out! That was just phenomenal. I won't hesitate to purchase through Heatonist again. Packaging review: These came in a beautiful box and the sauces were packaged sturdily. The tasting guide is really nicely done and super helpful. The hot sauces are fully individually labeled, so you have all the information about their sources, ingredients, nutrition, etc. All bottles are glass with plastic lids. Sauce review: The sauces were exactly as advertised and pictured. I purchased this for my husband's Christmas gift and we consumed it like they do on Hot Ones (interview questions and all). My husband enjoyed the entire experience. I had a great time through wing #7. The first 6 are warm but very tasty in different ways, and we will continue to use them with our normal food. The escalation of heat is incredibly subtle. Our favorites were the pear and the onion. Sauce #7 is noticeably hotter, but doable even for those without a love for really spicy things. The flavor is really interesting and cool. Sauces 8 and 10 were difficult to enjoy, both because they were extremely hot, and because the flavor didn't have much of a payoff. Sauce #9 was a little reprieve from #8 because the flavor was so lovely and it didn't seem hotter at all. We subjectively experienced it as quite a bit milder. Sauce #8 is advertised as all natural and tastier than the original Da Bomb, and I believe them. I still thought it was nasty though. I kept catching tastes of it through the rest of the evening (maybe just vivid memories), and that was not enjoyable. Sauce #10 was very hot on my husband's throat but nowhere else. It gave me a nicely warm throat, but it really punished the tip of my tongue, and for quite some time. I think it didn't start to fade for a good 10 to 15 minutes. It was definitely painful and nothing I'm planning to do again. Overall, I think this is a nice collection of hot sauces with something for everyone. I think those with mild preferences can get through more wings than they would think, and those who really adore heat will still be challenged at the end. Overall: this might have been the best thing (not just food) I purchased in 2024. I highly recommend it!”

“7 out the 10 bottles in the box were broken and the sauce was everywhere. they don't use any kind of package protection, just a cardboard box with glass bottles bouncing around inside. . . a complete ripoff IMO.”

“The first six are great! The last four will make you regret your life choices. I mean, that's why we do it, right? My favorites, though, are the ones that are hot but still have discernable other flavors, and this season had a lot of those. Top picks for me were #2, #3, and #6 - the warm spices in 6 were surprisingly so great. Definitely went back for more of those after we finished the challenge. I'd say over all this collection is a little sweeter than some, lots of fruity flavors, but I really liked that.”

“All the sauces where incredibly flavorful and took you on a really nice ride, until Da Bomb, then it's just pure pain until the end. The Ghost Pepper Pear, Smoked Onion, and Apple Caraway were deffintly the highlights for me. By the time we finished The Last Dab, I could feel my soul leaving my body and I was floating above my house. 10/10 would do again”

“This is the first pack of Hot Ones sauces I've purchased and it's a fantastic set. Every sauce had an enjoyable flavor (especially loved Apple Caraway & Ninja Napalm). As someone who REALLY loves heat, I could have gone hotter. Took a few fat dollops of Last Dab on my wing and to me it's 8/10 on spice. None had me reaching for water and I was chomping the entire wing... not nibbling like some guests do. ;) Still thoroughly enjoyed the experience and am looking forward to incorporating these in my cooking.”
