For just a moment you can taste the delicious flavors but then the heat comes a knockin, then barges right on in and takes hold of every single nerve ending on your lips and tongue. “This is a fun trio pack for if you want to dabble in the Hot Ones sauces but don't want to go for the full-out 10-pack. The Classic is very pleasant and has very little heat (1800 Scoville, I think) and the Los Calientes is a smoky barbecue sauce that has just a hint of kick. The Last Dab is outright painful. For me (pictured to the right), there is about a 5-second delay before it hits. My son (pictured left) gets hit right away and has regretted it both times he's tried it. There isn't much chance to assess any "flavor" because the heat is too intense. We literally ran our tongues under the faucet, taking turns, for about five minutes the first time we tried it. Not sure it's good for much except bragging rights -- I'd say pranks, but I strongly recommend against pranking anyone with a sauce this hot.”
