“It's a well made, well functioning center stand. However, Hepco & Becker included 2 sets of M10 bolts of the exact same type, diameter, and length - but different Thread Pitches! And put them in the same parts bag. Put those nyloc nuts on the coarse thread bolts as soon as you open the package. Or risk wrecking the threads in your frame by putting the coarse thread bolts (1.5) into the 1.25 tapped frame. H&B should have been more customer focused and used totally different bolts for the Center Stand pivot point, or used the same thread pitch for the pivot point. Skip the "special tool" for more easily fitting the sprint - not nearly enough. You need to lever it into position, or use a mechanical advantage to pull the spring far enough.”

“Die Verarbeitung des Hauptständers macht einen guten wertigen Eindruck. Die Bauteile wirken stimmig und stabil. Der Hauptständer fügt sich unauffällig ins Gesamtbild der Scrambler 1200 XE. Meiner Ansicht nach sollte man die Verriegelung in aufgebocktem Zustand nachbessern. Das Motorrad selbst neigt durch geringen Kraftaufwand vom Hauptständer abzurollen. Der Ständer sollte nach dem Überschreiten des oberen Totpunktes merklich sicherer einrasten.”
