“My son is getting married in August and I found my perfect dress. I love the fit and color. It, however, is not the most forgiving fabric. So I purchased this bodysuit shape wear.
As I was getting dressed for church I thought to myself, maybe I should wear this thing a couple of times before the wedding so I’m not miserable all day if it doesn’t fit exactly right. So I put it on. It was easier to don than I expected. It is definitely firm but a little flexible. Made it through church just fine. Went to lunch and then had to go to the bathroom.
This is when I realized I had miscalculated. Because there I was in the stall at the Cracker Barrel, looking down at myself and trying to figure out how to, um, uncover the relevant body parts. I briefly considered just stripping down completely like my kids used to do as toddlers. But that was unappealing and there was also not much room in the stall. I finally worked the straps off through my dress sleeves and was able to take care of business.
I might suggest some sort of flap or slit arrangement in case one’s outer garment is not as easily dealt with. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my bodysuit and it makes my dress look fabulous.”
