“My thoughts on the SoftForm Mid-Rise Brief.
PROS:
- Mid-Rise!
I’m not rocking low-rider jeans in my forties but I also don’t exclusively wear high-waisted pants. I need panties that aren’t waving hello from above the waist of my mom jeans. These sit just right on my waist.
- Texture
The material is so soft…it feels decadent against my skin.
- Cotton gusset
- Lightweight
They keep me cool and are invisible under clothing. No pantylines!
CONS
- Elasticity
They stretch out fairly easily. After several hours of wear, they begin to slip down…unless I pull them back up, they slide all the way down my hips. If I lounge around or sleep in them, they stretch so much that they sag in the booty.
- Durability
Several of the pairs from my first order have come apart around the crotch. The fabric is folded over around the leg holes and secured with some sort of adhesive, not sewn - so they are uber thin and don't create visible panty lines - but the adhesive has worn off and that strip of material is separating from the main body of the panty. Full disclosure: I was not following the instructions to hang them to dry. I was machine drying them on low heat. :( Take those instructions to heart, girls! I've ordered several more sets of these panties and haven't had the same problem since I've been exclusively line drying them.
In summary, I'm a sucker for a matching bra and panty set. I bought the SoftForm panties to match my SoftForm and V-Neck bras. But I've found that the material goes well with my other styles of Honeylove bras too so I can get the most use out of them. They're more economical than the Crossover and Silhouette briefs, so I've purchased a dozen of these. But they are pretty delicate and stretch out fairly easily. If these didn't match my bras, I probably would not have ordered more. I plan to phase them out a few at a time as I add more Crossover and Silhouette briefs to my drawer.”
