“Birds happy to use, including starlings. I have it under a squirrel dome to try and protect it from them, my last one was eaten. Only real problem is it's incredibly hard to grip and open, bit of a pain unfortunately”
“Only been up for just over a week. The small birds took to it straight away, I'm refilling every few days. So far I've had: Goldfinches, Great Tits, Blue Tits, Coal Tits, Greenfinches and House Sparrows making regular visits. Starlings have tried but not had much success. Highly recommend this feeder for feeding smaller birds.”
“This is very heavy when filled, so I did need to reset the pole feeder but it survived falling onto a slab so it's very well-made!
The starlings can use it but they can't grip it very well so they prefer the other feeders, which gives everyone else a chance :)”
