Splintex Silver
Splintex Silver is designed for young, newly developed hot splints. Typically, fresh splints can be up to 60 days old and still soft to the touch. When using Splintex Silver, it's crucial to give the horse complete rest and a break from work.
The total application period may span 15 days, or three five-day cycles.
Apply Splintex Silver very sparingly and bandage it. Repeat this process on the second and third days. On the fourth and fifth days, remove the bandage. If necessary, reapply on the sixth day, adhering to these instructions.
If bandaging young horses is impractical or not recommended, apply Splintex very sparingly for three consecutive days, then allow two days of rest. Continue these cycles until the splint has resolved.
Important Note: Do not combine with DMSO.
