“I recently ordered 21 metres of triple pinch pleat tape to finish my curtains having previously bought all my fabric and linings from Just Fabrics in store.
I did all my calculations in store with a staff member when buying fabric to work out how much I would need and they were lovely.
I went home and made all the curtains based on the fact this triple pinch pleat tape says 2.25 fullness. Now having bought the tape and pulled it and it is not quite even 2 in fullness. This means that in order for my curtains to lie flat when they are drawn together, they are way too wide for the window. I need to now buy different poles and they look stupidly too wide for the window. I can't undo them as I've spent a year making 6 beautiful large curtains (each 2.5 widths of fabric!) for my large lounge based on the fact this tape is advertised as 2.25 fullness. Such a shame as the quality of each product I've bought from them was lovely. I'm very disappointed having spent hundreds and put in many weeks of time to make these beautiful curtains.”
