“I love the look and feel of this fabric, and my machine has no problem with it, but it is impossible to sew by hand. You almost need pliers to pull the needle through it is so dense!. So hand heming the sides and bottom of the curtains has taken 3x as long as normal. Also the pattern repeat is 68cm, not 70 cm, so having measured up and cut from the bottom of a 3 pattern repeat drop (by which time there is a 6cm difference) - I nearly ruined the end product! I’ll add some photos once the curtains are finished!”
