“This is a really good product. Good materials and a great way to have your gas bottle not rattling around in your car. The inter operability of not needing to mount to a spare tire is also great. I have mine on a rooftop tent.
BUT, i think they could have put more effort into the design of the attachment pieces to the gas bottle. As it is, when you undo the screws, the bracket pieces inevitably fall off and for me bounce down the car. It is also extremely fiddly to remount trying to balance everything. It would be far better if the base mount could be temporarily fixed to the gas bottle, in a way you could move it to the next one when you need to change out. I achieved this with a drill and some zip ties. It is ugly, but it works. But with some small design edits this could be seamless.
The screws should also come with lanyards so you do not lose them. Also achieved this with a drill and some cord. Not ideal modifying new kit.”
