This item is excellent—it fits perfectly and is easy to install. All the necessary washers and nuts were included, which I really appreciate. However, the packaging was damaged during shipment, and as a result, both the left and right pieces arrived with paint damage. The coating on the metal wasn’t just scratched; it seemed to have cracked and peeled off, likely due to the type of finish used, which I believe is a powder coating. This appears to be a handling issue during shipping rather than a flaw in the product itself. If the packaging were improved to provide better protection, this would be a five-star item!

Great product and aligns perfectly like all Kaon stuff! My 150 has an ARB Deluxe Bullbar so few tweaks had to be made. Definitely trim washer bottle cover as per instructions on 150 as well as on FJ - easy to remove (M6 bolt, push in clip through guard liner & pull down off pin). Easy trim with hacksaw blade & follow dimensions as per video for cut size as this worked out spot on. When removing side bullbar bolts, the side plates may spring out slightly or drop as mine did, so it’s is a bit more challenging to make sure all the holes line up and you may need to use a bar to pry up the plate as much as possible in order to make the holes align – probably the most challenging part of this fitment if the plate moves. The bottom attachment bolt for the bullbar side splash guards or wings is an M8 25 mm. However with the recovery points in place there is not enough clearance for this bolt and I used an M8 16mm instead.

I haven’t used these for a recovery yet but they are a solid chunk of steel that should perform really well. Fairly easy to fit. I have chosen not to have a bull bar so this will allow recovery from the front. The only limitation is the angle with the factory bumper, but that’s not really the fault of the KAON recovery points.

I helped a mate install on my Prado without ramps or a lift. There was plenty of room, just steer to suit and the remote spacers worked a treat. Only issue - not enough room to use the torque wrench but will deal with that soon. Otherwise an easy install but not yet tested in anger. A very solid product and I have great confidence in the product.
