“Positives
- Relatively easy to fit, especially if using a floor jack to lift up the FJ then lift the guards up
- Look much more robust then the OEM guards, will be taking them for a test drive in the next few days off road
- Improved ground clearance due to the replacement of the front chassis bracing
- Pretty easy to access oil drain plug
Negatives
- Bit of damage on the guards from shipping, had to give them some metallic touchup paint before install
- Forward right hole on the sump guard could easily be 5mm larger and would make the install a lot less painful, had to tighten up manually using a 3/8 wrench with extension instead of a 1/2 inch deep impact driver like the install video
- Install instructions/video should mention existing bolts need 12mm and will be replacing with a 14mm”
