Can monitor secondary battery, know when it is charging from the alternator and/or solar. Does appear to take an hour or so to get a correct percentage charged reading - think its just the surface charge thats misleading, ie showing say 13.26V, but only say 65% charged while charging and not much different after the engine is turned off. After an hour or so after charging, and no solar input going in, the voltage drops back down more in line with the percentage charged. Battery health monitor is also useful.”
“I bought this for SOC on a portable lithium battery. It works ok; but, it’s more focused for under the bonnet of your car startup battery. It does not go to sleep resulting in a parasitic drain if not disconnected for longer term storage.
