“I bought this charger to maintain my 2 x100aH Deep Cycle AGM batteries in my canopy. I have used other more expensive chargers, but I get a better result using the AGM profile on the Kickass 12V 20 Amp charger. Being able to track the charge through the different stages is also a benefit. The batteries are in parallel, and by watching the instructional video, I now charge them as suggested with the Pos. cable one one battery and the Neg. on the other. I also have another Deep Cycle SLA in a Projecta Power Hub that I sometimes use as a portable power source, I have been charging this at various intervals with another charger, but I found when I used the Kickass 12v 20 Amp charger, when it got to the Recon mode, it stayed there for nearly 4hrs, fluctuating the voltage up and down. Reading the instruction manual, it says this is normal and how that mode works. Read the manual guys. Very happy with charger.”
