It’s bright and cheap but gets super hot to the touch. I have two and they are both the same

These head torches are replacements kickass very kindly sent to me and so far all the overheating and flickering issues I had with the first two torches have been solved. They are light weight and show a very good light and the battery seems to last ok .

Light weight and good to see with but it gets very hot on your forehead and when using spot beam the back of it will almost too hot to touch. One of the two also flickered but seems to have settled down now.Not the good quality we are use to seeing from kick ass.

These head torches are excellent value, especially when they are on special. I bought 2 of them and use them for working on my cars under the hoist. I find the spread beam better for general use which uses a bit more power than the spot beam. Buy 2 so when one starts to fade you can keep going and put the first one straight on charge. The best feature is the simplicity of just spot or spread, no useless strobe or red lights to function through.
