“Gr8 product, had poor service with misinformation from instore so purchased another battery to hook up in parralel then told by technical support to not do it. Stuck with a 2nd battery and battery holder that are useless.”
“Been running this exact system for a little over 12 months now and it has not missed a beat, super easy to install. I usually run a 75L Kickass Dual Zone Fridge/Freezer, as well as camp lights, charging gear for phones, drones, cameras, laptops and a 12v fan. Battery is charged up while driving but I also have it paired with a folding Solar Blanket and have never run out of juice. 100% recommend this.”
“I absolutely love this box! Very well thought out design with all its features and I particularly like the flush mounted Anderson plugs so you can push the box up against things which is very handy when loading in the back of the ute. I just wish the solar side of the charger could handle more voltage. I have 2 solar blankets which are rated at under the maximum input voltage for the charger but it still trips the over voltage code. I have made a ticket to warranty department as of today the 16/7/23 so hopefully the the team at kickass can get back to me this coming week to help me resolve this issue. It's not a deal breaker for me as I can still plug up my other chargers to the box to charge from my solar blankets but I would really like to utilise the mppt solar side of the charger on the box. If we can sort out the problem and or find a solar blanket that is compatible with the charger I will be giving it a 5 star!”
