Excellent product, easy to use, it is in the back of the 4x4 and has been a great addition to the driving and camping we do. Would recommend the KickAss Travel Oven.

Awesome bit of kit, read reviews before buying, this oven performs way better than the reviews say. I have preheated the oven then prepared meals as I would have done in a normal oven and honestly there isn't that much difference time wise between my oven at home and the travel oven.

I have used the travel oven once. It took 60 minutes to reach max temperature and then another 30 minutes to heat the meal from cold, straight out of the fridge. We used it the once while camping for 4 days during rainy conditions and limited sun. Our batteries where only being charged enough to supply power to our fridge so could not use the oven more than once. We have a 160 watt solar panel which I believe would adequately charge the battery and allow us to use both the fridge and oven under normal sunny conditions. The oven would be great while traveling as the vehicle would also be charging the auxiliary battery. Just need to be patient and allow the 1 hour for oven to heat up. Definitely not a microwave but has its usefulness so long as you are prepared to plan ahead for meals.

I put a reasonable sized roast in , not in my opinion overloaded , it took over seven hours to cook . Strangely I do like it though

I bought the oven 2 weeks ago and it's first use was to cook a roast pork for lunch while on the job site. I had the oven on full for about an hour before putting the roast in. Cooking time was 2.5 hours. Tasted beautiful.
