“After purchasing a 20 Amp DC charger and battery box it hasn't performed as good as l thought it should. Whilst running a fridge the battery level never gets above 12.9 volts under perfect conditions on a sunny coolish day dropping down to 12.3 volts late afternoon. My basic set up with a Redarc controller under the same conditions are 14.5 volts and 13.1 volts after running all night. I've given it a 3 star only because of all the ports, Anderson plugs and lighter sockets. Now I'm in hot humid conditions with the fridge working a bit harder lve bypassed the kickass charger with my own set up to maintain a good battery level

“Not sure what is meant by Labour issue. There were a few teething problems however thanks to support staff, especially John in workshop, the problems were sorted out and now the 100ah Lithium power pack is working well.
I especially like the dual input capability. My previous Thumper was the Elite unit, which was also a good unit but wasn't suitable for solar and was difficult to move around because of its weight.
I have a number of KickAss Products and happy with all.”
