“Getting back into falling over as a hobby in my mid-40s and dig trying out new technology. Had been sitting on the fence trying to decide between VX or Flite Deck and when the sale price hit the inbox I had to pull the trigger on this one. The artwork is killer so it was going to go on the wall but when I compared the weight and thickness to my current (now previous) ride I had to set it up and give it a bash and so glad I did. Pop is as good as others say it is, the weight difference compared to stock 7-ply decks is noticeable for sure, and paired with a set of hollows I have no excuses not to get up and onto those ledges*. I'm roughly 88-90kg and the deck feels strong and responsive and feel like the extra charged for the technology is worth it as I don't feel like this deck is going to get soggy nearly as quickly as my previous few.
