“It does the job but it would be better if the legs were a few cms longer. I think my stairs are pretty average size, one of them is a brand new loft conversion so they are compliant with current building regulations. I'm sure they are not particularly tall. But I have to use 2 bits of wood underneath each leg to make the platform level. If I don't use these then there is a disconcerting downward slope putting you at risk of falling down the stairs. Using bits of wood makes it less safe. It would be easy for the legs to be made slightly longer, & people can make them shorter if required, surely most people are having this problem.”

Brilliant bit of kit
Really impressed with this platform. It’s sturdy, well made, and feels very safe to work on — especially on stairs where ladders are awkward or risky. The adjustable legs make it easy to level out, and the non-slip surface gives good grip even when things get dusty.
I use it regularly for painting and decorating jobs, and it’s made those tricky stairwells so much easier. Folds up nicely too, so it doesn’t take up loads of space in the van.
It’s not the cheapest option out there, but you get what you pay for — proper quality and peace of mind. Highly recommend.”
