“Almost twice the price of other ladders I looked at on Amazon and Ebay, but having looked at a neighbours more flimsy version I’m sure the price of £109 was worth the extra. The cheaper versions don’t have the BS guarantee and having read the art icle in Which? magazine about a professional workman’s telescopic ladder that collapsed I would say that it’s worth spending the extra money on something more solid and sturdy. My only criticism is the way you have to extend it i.e from the bottom-meaning if you want to extend it fully you have to almost lay it down.As I’m getting on in years I did find that aspect a bit challenging, however I suppose at my age I shouldn’t really be going up ladders! Finally the soft close is spot on !”
“Purchased 3.8m ladders excellent sturdy ladder with soft closing no chance of catching your fingers like some of the cheaper ladders on the market.
Delivery was also excellent I would recommend this company”
“Purchased this after seeing the one my Son in Law had. It was delivered very quickly & I only had to fix on the wide foot on the bottom. Used the same weekend it's so easy to lift & carry & im 71 years old.
Works a treat. Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting a new ladder.”
“I'd not recommend this ladder. The instructions say to open from the bottom, but this is very difficult due to the weight of the ladder above, and once the ladder teaches head height it is of course impossible without climbing and opening it as you go. I've noticed that most people ignore the instructions and open the ladder from the top. A bit more thought needed! I'd hoped for something portable and easy to use, but this is neither.”
“Good product, compact when folded, sturdy when extended. I've used the MacAllister version before and this one is equally as good, but arguably better because it folds down to a smaller height. The soft close function works well. Good delivery - arrived next day.”
