“It provides a basic understanding and features of Captivate and because it provides you with the manual, its easy to catch up with the instructor goes ahead. Its difficult to manage all this information in only 2 days. Although what was helpful was how the instructor applied your work as examples on how you can use the features. As a learner you made a better connection of the features.”

“I would recommend the class because the content and instructor was good...but the air conditioning needs to be re-designed....we were terribly hot all day...while other class rooms were comfortable because there was only one thermostat”

“It was helpful to come and do it hands on - I know others who did it online and were very confused at the end. It is just incredibly expensive for the non-profit world. Carma was great - and flexible, patient and was able to make the information accessible. I do wish the examples had something to do with my field but understand why not.”

“It was unfortunate that several of the participants did not have their workbooks. The instructor did the best he could to step through the confidence checks, but it may have a bit smoother if we could have all go through them on our own and then ask questions. I was glad I had done some of the exercises prior to class.”

“The class is good for someone who needs their hand held through the basics. The instruction book was easy to follow. I think that it should contain instruction for competing a short project that includes the features covered in the first two days. I would have liked to produce a project from start to finish, maybe that is in the 5 day class.”

“I will admit that my coworker had an unpleasant experience just 2 weeks ago and I was not sure I would learn anything. Sean Gallagher is fantastic!!!! As a trainer, I know good and bad training. The facility is another story. At least ten water jugs empty laying around and NO water for students. Obviously, I had a headache by the end of the second day. The rooms were very warm and we had to turn on fans and open our door to the hallway. Supplies for things like coffee and the station are very disappointing. You can call me if you want but it's not required. My suggestion... a new location!”
