“It's ridiculously expensive for the amount of information you learn. I paid $1,500 for 2 beginner classes here, but at New Horizons I paid $750 for a beginner AND advanced course, and still learned the same amount of information. I will be going to them in the future based on pricing.”

“It is a helpful course that gives you allot of insight into how to use Illustrator. The one thing I would suggest would be to cater the lesson plan to more closely follow the text lessons so that we could see more examples. At times it was difficult to follow because of the differences between the two and thus we were left to try to image what was being taught.”

“I felt a lot of the basic stuff was skipped over (what are layers, how do you move them, etc.), and the instructor moved quickly through material. While this is to be expected, it was hard to catch up on a given topic. There was also a number of things in the syllabus that weren't covered. An hour or two was spent on inspirational websites, which while interesting, did not help with gaining knowledge of the program.”

“I think that this is a great crash course for learning the basics about Adobe Illustrator. I think that the material would be better broken up over a longer period of time, but with time sensitive professions it makes sense for it to be constrained to a shorter period of time.”

“I thought it was great, but I felt like I could have actually just used the book. To make the instructor's presence more valuable I recommend having them work the problems along side the students. Even if its at a fast pace, we could always ask her to back up. Most of us have two screens it would have been nice to watch the other screen and see her put the artwork together piece by piece as well.”
