“I was under the impression that this course was for entry-level programmers. I have no experience in this field and made that clear to the instructor when I introduced myself. Unfortunately, I was completely lost during this course. When I expressed my confusion to the instructor (two hours into the first day), he answered my questions but did not modify his teaching approach, the way he explained the material, or the pace in which he taught it. Rather than trying to program along with the instructor, I expressed that I would just watch what he was doing in hopes that I could understand the concepts. After expressing this, I quickly began to feel ignored by the instructor, who seemed to focus his attention on the other student who was quicker at understanding the content. When both of us students were present as participants in the online session, the instructor would acknowledge the other student by welcoming him in the morning and after breaks, but would say nothing to me. The issue may largely lie with the fact that there was quite a lot of material to cover within two days, and the instructor felt pressured to get through it all. Overall, the pace, quantity, and delivery of the material was overwhelming, and I will never take another class from this instructor again.”

“The class was great. Two suggested changes: The book is not the greatest. I think there are other book options that have better examples as well as more robust reference sections. I also wish we had started on time. We had to spend some time setting up files and didn't start until 9:45. So, we could have been reading the book or doing exercises during this time.”

“The instructor was great! The internet was a terrible disappoinment. It did affect the overall experience , the book was also a day late, but wasnt used at that point.”
