“This stops the food being eaten by crows, rooks or jackdaws which had been able to get at the old feeder. The smaller birds get their fill and it has attracted some goldfinches back. However, starlings have found that they too can get at the food; that is not so bad as their numbers seem to be in decline”

“I use the little lantern on a pole with a squirrel baffle, the smaller birds found it really quickly and get it all to themselves as the larger greedier birds cannot land on it to feed from it. A great purchase.”
