“I hang my feeder from a hook and the woodpeckers and crows will hang on the bottom of the feeder to obtain the seeds. To keep the fallen seed from rats & mice I use a tray, therefore the spacer not only keeps the pigeons away from the feeder but gives the woodpecker family easy access.”
