I was on Polaris Supreme for 2 days on July 15-17. The captain recommended using a heavy setup. Using a heavy SSR 2x4 with Mikaira 20, I landed 3 BFT, the largest weighing about 145 lbs, within the first few hours of the night. After landing 3 BFT, I began experimenting with the new toy, the KOA rod. With a few dropps, I hooked and landed an 80 lbs BFT. Landing was relatively easy.
