Frustrated by years and years of digging your nails in or forcing hooks in between Split Rings because the Gape on your Split Ring is never big enough, or the Split Ring flip flops about while you trying to assemble your lure.

These split-ring pliers reflect Warren's attention to detail and concerns about high quality. The tapered disk that opens (and securely holds) a split ring is a clever, strong design. BUT, I bought these specifically to fit heavy split rings over large-diameter (.062"-plus) through-wires on genuinely big lures. Unfortunately, that disk simply isn't wide enough; I still have to struggle and finagle. It seems clear to me that Warren needs to design and introduce an EXTRA-LARGE version of these otherwise excellent pliers”
