There's a new reel on the deck! The Avet HX 5/2 MC Raptor Reels with Dual Drag features a ratcheting drag cam with the MC (magnetic) which is a magnetic breaking system so you don't get any backlash.
“I have not use it yet, but I did some practice casts. I like its MC casting control. So far I like it better than Shimano Talica II 16 - Avet is made in America and is cheaper than Shimano Talica II 16. I will know for sure when I land some tuna with this reel, but it is easier to use than Shimano. I cannot wait to land some tuna with it.”
