“For years if been using closed backs and IEM's when not listening via speaker. And I'd heard from many many people that the sound staging of open backs can't be beat unless you're doing a full speaker setup which is impractical for my work (I'm an editor who also does content creation) so I thought what did I have to lose?
And oh dear lord, the staging is so broad that it almost sounds three dimensional. Yeah ok, there is some roll off in the bass and sub bass department, and the trebles can be sound a little too bright for me personally when not eq'd. But the clarity is phenomenal. I use these for recording, editing, and relaxation when at home now.
They're comfy, they sound stunning, and they don't feel like they're going to fall apart any time soon. Absolutely recommend.”
