“This is a great companion piece to the BOSS GT-1 for Guitar, and basically does the same thing - a decent entry level multi fx pedal with some good functionality if you want to dip your toes in to recording.
Are there better ones out there? You bet there are. But you'll pay a hell of a lot more for those. This thing will get the job done just fine for people wanting to dabble.
The only black mark against it for me when compared to the GT-1 for guitar is that the out-of-the-box setup isn't as great - there's some good tones and effects in there, but they're spaced oddly and there's a lot of 'filler' with novelty stuff you'll rarely use. The GT-1 was much more useable straight away, whereas the GT-1B needed to a run through the Boss Studio to get set up in a more logical way. But that's a nitpick - it's still good overall and I'd definitely recommend.”
