“Really impressed with this so far; an extremely versatile amp, and with a much better tone and expression than I was expecting from a modelling amp. There's almost a few too many settings to mess with, but the BOSS tone studio app makes it super easy to manage and arrange your presets - plenty of great options from other creators out there ready to go.
I also appreciate that this amp sounds really good at low volume levels while still keeping all the detail - something that was really important to have in my household.
While an expensive, high quality pure traditional amp is still going to be slightly better and more authentic in most cases, you're not going to get the massive versatility and value for money that this offers. This thing can absolute nail everything from clean, to blues, to fuzzy brown stoner rock and some excellent metal tones. The pushed amp settings are extremely well simulated and fun to play with.
