“Vater 5B woodtips are my go to stick for most of the music I play and gigs I do. For me they are the perfect stick, they are nicley balanced and weighted, the tip makes for a nice cymbal tones and they produce a clean clear transient on snare and toms. Dynamically, these sticks can transition from pp all the way to sfz very easily. I find the Vater 5B to be a slightly bigger sized 5B when compared to the competition. This actually allows my hands to relax a bit more as I have more stick to hold onto. Another great feature of not only the 5B but all Vater sticks is, they last!! They are very durable and don’t break as easily as some other sticks brands I’ve used!”
