“I was upgrading from the TD1 MKV. The Roland TD17 KVX is brilliant overall. There is great feedback from the mesh heads. The cymbals are really tactile with the ride in particular giving that true ride feel. The base unit although small has a great quality to it and is very stable. Then the main improvement is the control unit. It is fantastic and is very customisable with lots of options to import other kits to round out my playing options. The team at ModernMusician were great to deal with and I would recommend both the kit and the sales experience as being first class. Cheers.”
